I
like this one: "I don't mean to be rude, but..."
Say, buddy, read the ad throroughly before you pass judgement.
Wanker. At least he read *part* of the ad.
Jen:
Again, a person who didn't read the ad:
"I'm
looking for a platonic FRIEND, dingbat!"
And
as someone who has a Master's (in English), I know the difference
between "too" and "to," and "ad"
and "add" -- not that this would impress our friend
here, as he has no grammar skills.
But
thank you, Sweet Jesus, for supplying him with skills and
ethics to teach me the error in my ways. God knows, I might
have actually made a FRIEND online! ::gasps:: When WILL my
conscience kick in?
And
just imagine if my BF found out... I'd actually made an online
FRIEND. Imagine the humiliation, the tears!! How could I live
with myself, Lor???
Lorina:
Add "no social skills," too. Ooh, and looky there.
I managed to use both "add" and "too"
correctly!
If
this member of the "Moron Majority" wants to pass
judgement on people with online ads, he should take a look
at the ads from married men and women. Just do a keyword search
for "discreet," and you'll get plenty of them!
