Original Ads
Alrighty...
you asked for them. Here's my original ads that these people
responded to. There were a few others before I started forwarding
the responses, but I don't have copies of them anymore. I've
tried to go through all the repsonses here on the site and
list what ads they came from, so if there's any that don't
have this listed, they're either from Cindy's or Jen's ads
or from one of the really old ones. These are in chronological
order.
The
first one is the ad Jonn responded to, and the Fluid Master...
ewww. The second one, I had listed in the New York City category.
I live reasonably close (1.5 hours), and was pondering moving
there. It's the ad that brought me my good friend (though we've
never met) Heavy Kevvy. The third ad was in the vague category
of "Pennsylvania, Other Areas," so most of the respondants were
very far away, and it seems the rest thought I was some kind
of freaky goth chick.
The
last ad was certainly my favorite -- it's the one that Fritz
answered. By this one, you can really tell how irked I was
getting with the lame responses. I'm not placing these as
examples of what to do or what not to do. These represent
me and what I was looking for, and don't apply to all people.
But... it worked!
